david clarke –
I purchased a Dell G7 laptop in 2021 and suddenly it was no longer charging. I noticed that the blue light that is on the end was suddenly off. I would unplug it, plug it back in and watch it slowly fade from bright blue to nothing. I immediately went to Dell’s web-site to order a replacement, only to find that they cost around £160! I quickly searched on google! I found many cheaper replacements, but the reviews were bad, with pictures of the ‘brick’ (A/C adapter) with bubbles and appeared to be melting from the heat generated. I finally came across this one for a little more, and it was available quickly! It’s been 3+ months and I am happy to say I have had absolutely zero issues. It maintains power and charges perfectly! What I also like, is it has the same exact blue light on the plug. I plan on purchasing another as a back up and/or to keep at the office or in my travel case, so I don’t have to go through unplugging the one I use at home.
